Atwood Water Heater DSI Fault
2012 Holiday Rambler Vacationer Motorhome. I have an Atwood 10 gallon water heater with electronic ignition (model # GC10A-4E). I have had multiple problems with the ECO and TSAT switches going bad...for no apparent reason, they just go bad (open) and subsequently the water heater will not operate in either AC or DC mode. I verify they are bad by checking continuity through the respective switch (while disconnected) with a multi-meter. I've replace both on multiple occasions (probably 5 times each). I have checked all visible electrical connections at the water heater and finally replaced the circuit board. I thought that had corrected my multiple failures, however, it has occurred again. When I went to start the water heater today, the DSI Fault Light illuminated (water heater obviously didn't operate)...checked both ECO and TSAT with multi-meter and both were bad (open, no continuity). When I bypass both switches (I know this probably isn't recommended), the water heater lights and operates until I turn it off manually. Pretty perplexed at this point??? Looking for any advice as to what my next step(s) for isolating the problem may be?
