- SCVJeffExplorerDepends on the jacks and leveling system you have
- 1971duster340ExplorerHWH systems have a calibration method.
- pennysmom09ExplorerAfter auto leveling, if the bathroom or bedroom doors still swing we make slight manual adjustments since each jack can be adjusted. Not sure what system, whatever is standard Iguess.
- jorbill2orExplorer IIIt would be helpful to ask of a forum that has members for your pecific coach however. Normally there is a " hockey puck " devise screwed to the ceiling of the basement or in my case it's under a dash panel . Mine has 3 screws on springs that slow you to adjust level. Level the coach then adjust the sensor to have the control panel lights all indicate level. Finding the level sensor is the challenge
- Dutch_12078Explorer IIWithout knowing the brand and model, there's no way anyone can give an exact procedure to follow. HWH, Bigfoot, Lippert, etc., all have different methods of calibrating their auto leveling systems.
- Newmar's usually use HWH as the Jack system. Here is the link for HWH current system. I suggest you also go thru the HWH website and download the operators manual. Doug
http://www.hwhcorp.com/ml47509.pdf - azdryheatExplorerRead your owner's manual and the related components manual. Mine has a procedure where you manually level the rig and then go though a sequence of button pushing to save the setting. Pretty simple.
- wildtoadExplorer IIMaddawg, if you have a Bay Star you most likely have an Equalizer system. You can go to their website and download a manual that will show you how to "Set the Null". It is a specific to Newmar manual so make sure you get the correct one. If you have trouble, PM me with your email address and I'll send you a copy.
And I agree the documentation in the folder was basically nonexistent. - FIRE_UPExplorer

Bought my first motorhome . It's got auto leveling. Using level at the fridge, it looks pretty much dead on. If it wasn't, what would you do? Level using manual? Saw no book in the coach on the auto jacks.
Maddawg46,
As others have stated, we need more info on your coach, make, model, leveling system and, if you have a particular model or number of that leveling system. For instance, our coach, an '04 Itasca Horizon, 36GD came with the HWH, 625 Computer Controlled Automatic Leveling System. And, with that system, there is no HOCKY PUCK for adjusting the leveling system.
There is however, a master control panel, under the coach, located in front of the right front wheel, under the steps. It has an independent, floating control board, inside that panel. It's adjusted from the outside, using a specific set of wrenches and screwdriver. IT won't do any good to explain how to adjust it, if yours is not the same system so, this is why we all need more info, to help you get a better grip on what's needed for adjusting yours.
Scott - maddawg46ExplorerI have a 2016 Newmar Bay Star 3124.
