Have Power Gear Leveling jacks on my 2011 Fleetwood. Currently parked at a site that has a large slope toward the back of the RV. Put jacks on auto and only the rear jacks came down. Front jacks did go down when I tried them in manual mode. Always thought all jacks would come down in auto mode. Coach is level and stable with only the rear jacks down. Called Fleetwood and the support guy said it was ok because the system read that the front were not needed. Have never parked in a spot sloped this much ( can walk under rear slide out). Did not feel like the Fleetwood support guy was confident with his info. Was he right or should all jacks always go down in auto mode. Also, did not get any error codes during this procedure,in auto or manual.

On my 2011 Fleetwood Storm with Powergear jacks, all four jacks always came down, but I don't know if I've ever had the exact slope you experienced.

All four jacks should come down and put some pressure on them. The logic board should then start leveling the MH, as needed until the platform is level. This may include letting pressure off the jacks that do not get pushed down as hard as the ones that need to raise. All four should be on the ground to prevent any shake from the suspension, and/or tires. If all jacks do not go down, it may be because you are out of level so much, the logic board cannot process it, or you need to manually level the MH, and them reset the logic (control pad), using your leveling system manual, to level. This may take several tries, but it will accept the level that you have manually dialed in.

Depending on the slope not all of my jacks will come down. Like when in my driveway. While in my driveway only the front jacks come down due to the slope. I then switch to manual mode and drop the rears until the hit the ground. I do this just to reduce the rocking you get when people are walking around the coach.

Years ago before cell phone cameras everywhere I was in a campground in PA and saw a motorhome with it's front wheels 3' in the air and the levelers were resting on a stack of cinder blocks. It seemed like a physical impossibility to even have gotten it into that position without a crane. Wish I had a picture of it. I had a pop up at the time and had no idea you could (and certainly didn't think you should!) get a motorhome off the ground like that.

And, FTR, I've always had all 4 jacks down. I've been on some sites that have been so sloped where I've needed blocks under the front or rear wheels and blocks under the jacks in order to level properly. And always had all wheels on the ground.

I can see a disaster waiting in the wings. I have experienced only the rear jacks deploying which is where the system begins the procedure. If it hits level with little rise the front does not deploy. If yours raises enough that you could walk under the coach, there sounds like a problem. Think of the possibility of the emergency brake failing and the full weight of the coach pushing back against the rear jacks, front wheels free rolling. I always chock the front tires when setting on an incline and would certainly level manually to have the support of 4 jacks. It was already asked, but were the rear wheels touching the ground once leveled"

To answer one part of your post. That Fleetwood guy was no technical expert. There is NO Leveling jack system that uses an Auto level function, that would "know" that a certain jack or jacks were not needed. In AUTO level, all jacks will deploy. Doug
