Autos or RVs parking lot

Was entering a reststop in Texas. Sign said rv's and trucks one way, autos the other way. Took the rv's/truck parking cause, hey, I'm an rv even though I am only 20 feet long. It was all empty at the time. Selected a turn in that was somewhat shorter of the other truck pull throughs. Next morning we were surrounded by trucks. We pulled out on the highway and soon after got a check engine light. Later I stopped for fuel and found the gas cap off. Some trucker was showing his opinion of me parking there. So no, I won't park in the truckers area as they have enough problems finding parking with out me being in the way. The auto parking area might be quieter anyway.
