Awning leg repair?
The screws at the bottom of one of my awning legs are stripped. I tried a little larger screws and they stripped easily as well. I had thought about using toggle bolts but it looks like my black water...

I fought this for a few years until even longer and bigger screws wouldn't hold.
I finally had to add a 1/4 inch thick steel plate that is about 4 inches longer than the awning mount. This allowed me to use 4 screws to mount the plate to the side of the RV and then screw the awning mounting plate in to the new steel plate. I painted the plate the same color as the RV so it blends in. This has held for 4 years.
