Awning leg repair?
The screws at the bottom of one of my awning legs are stripped. I tried a little larger screws and they stripped easily as well. I had thought about using toggle bolts but it looks like my black water...

not sure what you have going on, but when I began to have that problem, it was actually an indication of some water intrusion. screws were wicking water into wood behind the aluminum. I did something similar to the bear and F1bNorm and put a strip of wood on the underside and then bolts. provided the strength needed to hold arms steady.
