I didn't get the full story behind it, but from what I did get, I am guessing the guy I bought it from, was either left it after the original owner passed or he bought it from the estate. It sat for a couple of years in storage while all that was going on.
He did seem sure about it being a 478, because I had did a search for it and it did seem odd, but it doesn't really matter except needing to know for parts and such.
So, I need a service manual for at chev 454 and one for the truck base then... Something that includes maintenance on the axles lol.
The chassis manual is what you want and the chassis could very well be a 81 or 82 year model and not that it would make much difference, unless in a transition year for something or the other.
It won't be easy to find on Amazon or eBay, but do your search for a Chevy P32 Motorhome Chassis Manual and somebody should have one for a reasonable price.
