How important is having a real useable shower? ? Most B's do not have a shower that I would want to use on a daily basis. I do not like using public showers so our main 2 criteria were a good comfortable Queen size bed and a real shower that someone 6 ft. can use with comfort. We were downsizing from an A. We looked for 2 years before deciding to buy a Triple E Regency with a Murphy bed.
Unfortunately they do not make this identical model any longer as the Ford chassis are not available.
An almost identical unit made by the same company is a Leisure Van on a Sprinter chassis. There are several floorplans including a Murphy bed model.
Having a good bed available but not taking up valuable space all day is a great idea. The bed is very easy to put up/down and takes less than a minute to do. The bathroom is across the entire back and has a residential style shower and lots of room for dressing. Tank capacities are also very good.
You might want to check with Sicard RV in Smithville (near Hamilton) as they are now carrying Leisure Vans. They only have one model on display at the moment as they are very popular and are hard to get. Others no doubt will be arriving.
