Meaning your own insurance company or the other drivers insurance company? If it's your own insurance, on the rental car issue that will depend on whether you have rental car coverage in your policy or not. If they won't cover it, then you should be able to get your own rental car and then eventually get reimbursed for it by the other parties insurance company.
