Excellent Advice. A few years back I was involved in a motorcycle crash with the other party being at fault. Under advice from a close friend that happens to be an attorney, he recommend That I go ahead and settle with insurance about replacement of my motorcycle/tow bill,etc but to wait a little while before settling on personal injury issues.

Probably some of the best advice I have ever taken to heart. approx 6-8 months after the accident I developed wrist and elbow problems that (doctor) said were related to the accident.
Because I waited the at fault drivers insurance had to take care of my medical expenses.
