I have been in one wreck my entire driving career. I was in a toyota solara that was totaled. I have AAA. They immediately authorized a rental, and I had my check within a week.
BTW, that toyota (and God) saved my life. The entire car collapsed around the driver/passenger seat. Once I recovered from the airbag smack, I walked away. When my son went with me to the wreckers to retrieve a few personal belongings from the car, he dropped to his knees and thanked the Lord. He could not believe that I could have survived when he saw the car. I like Toyota products (which are made in the USA).
