Ballpark Value?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/201328140049?forcerRptr=true&item=201328140049&viewitem=

I would like some opinions on what the ballpark value of this rig would be. I know there are lots of variables, but I enjoy the opinions and the supporting reasoning behind them.

Thanks in advance.

  • Went up today to take a look at the rig. What was described over the phone as "great shape" and "beautiful" turned out to be what I would consider "very rough" condition. Original tires, filthy carpets, stained window shades, faded and cracked stickers, cracked windshields, and I could go on and on.

So I ask the individual what the bottom price is, and I get the answer of $45K. I couldn't help but laugh. I asked if he was really serious and then pointed out the condition and how I figured retail for the rig in excellent and garaged condition was about $10K cheaper that. He said his mother was upside down and had to get that for it.

Very sad situation, but frustrating to waste my time and gas. Oh well, the search continues.

  • I would be all done at $23,000 to $25,000. Figuring it will need tires and a complete maintenance at least, and based on the pictures it looks fairly well worn inside and the exterior paint is dull and faded.
  • Is it just me or does that look like a water stain on the blind behind the couch? Could just be the light:@

It's hard to tell as most the pictures don't seem that sharp.

    Good luck

  • A dinette on the passenger side is rare. It seems like the best place to have it so you overlook your site and not your neighbors site.

As for being able to look at it first . . .YES. I have sold many big ticket items on ebay and I always welcome anyone seeing it first. That way they know what they are buying. If the owner tries to discourage this, then you should walk away.
  • For anything like a motorhome, I'd definitely take a look before I bought. I'd be concerned with maintenance records, water leaks/damage, and as stated...tires. If all is good, then I don't think you'd be out of range at $30K.
  • I do have the ability to go view it before I bid. I'm just trying to figure out if it's worth over about $30K. Tires will be a factor in the decision as well.

  • AS IS WHERE IS
    Tires are probably aged out
So I would not bid over $20,000 unless you can go inspect it before bidding
