Note that Banks has managed to improve the newer 362 HP engine on an equal basis with the older 275 & 315 HP engines, much to the dismay of some.
..The key words to the info you are linking to is, "what Bank's SAYS about their Power Pack kit".
As we all know, what a company SAYS their product does, and what it actually DOES for most people in reality, are frequently two very different things. Some of the experiences some have noted here with Banks kinda confirms that.
Its kind of like the old joke about how if the hype claimed about many fuel saving products were ALL true, and you installed ALL of them...Your vehicle would save sooooo much fuel, it'd be spitting fuel back out at you. :)
...As has been said, a Banks Power Pack kit will never, ever pay for itself in fuel mileage savings (if there is any). There's probably *some* power gained, and probably more so with the older V10s.
I personally think for the newer V10s, Ford has squeezed just about every ounce of horsepower that is realistically possible out of the V10. I wouldn't spend this $$ on one of the newer V10s, but might could be tempted to do so for an older one, or one of the older big blocks.
