bathroom remodel

i am in the process of remodeling my bathroom, tile floor, new vanity cabinet, toilet and sink, since I tiled the floor, the toilet closet is recessed now, is there an extender that will bring it back flush or do I get a thick wax seal?

Wax rings aren't used in RVs. Depending on the type of toilet you may be able to get a piece that will fit in the space that will lift it a couple of inches.
we are talking of only a 1/4"-3/8" height difference

yes I have seen those at the local Ace, but I think it closes the pipe size down some. Menards said they have something that will work. Actually I picked up another foam gasket at my local RV dealership, I am going to silicone them together and see if that won't leak, I think it should work, I hope.

  • Go to Home Depot, Lowes, or any hardware store and tell them how thick the tile is and they will fix you up with the proper spacer and rubber gasket.
