I want them enclosed as the storage compartment that is big and there well be other items in the same compartment. Don't want something falling against them and causing a short. Would not be a pretty sight to have 4 GRP 31 batteries discharging at the same time. Also would want something to hit the case of a battery and causing acid spill in the compartment.
