The echo charger is excellent--it even works with solar, wind, steam power, whatever you are charging your house batteries with.
It charges the chassis battery at UP to 15 amps (if needed) from the house bank ONLY WHEN the house batteries are at 13 volts or higher. It can't draw the house batteries down if there is NO charging to them, but it won't over charge the chassis batteries either.
The nice thing about the echo charger is that it allows our solar panels to keep them up too when we are parked at home too far away from the 120.
