Our Pace Arrow has a Solar Charger. It will keep the house batteries up to snuff all day long. That being said My coach batteries would go down in 4 or 5 days so I took some #10 wire put some clips on the ends and now I tie the coach and chassis batteries together when ever I boondook or am parked in a campground for more than a day. This system has worked well for 2 years.
Good Luck
The more I think about it, the more I like this idea. My coach has a Heart Interface Freedom 25 that's basically a 130 AMP battery charger!
I would do it like this. Get a continuos duty relay from NAPA, part # ST85. Use 6 gage battery cable to the relay between the house and the chassis batteries. A switch up front would control the relay. When I dry camp and run my generator I would flip the switch and combine my 130 AMP charger for my 8 T105 house batteries and my 2 chassis batteries. Problem solved!
I kinda feel like Ford. I've got a better idea! :B J/K
