Battery charger on chassis batteries permanently!

Can I safely do this? I just bought Amp-L-start and it's not really charging that much. It charges and cuts out intermittently. I can replace my old Heart interface with a new Magnum MS2012 an...

The AMP-L-Start didn't work out, I returned it.

Today I bought a NAPA ST85 continuous duty solenoid. I am going to wire the the + on the chassis and the house batteries together via the ST85 with a switch on the dash that is only to be on during dry camping.
