Battery Disconnect Solenoid

What model Four Winds do you have? You probably have the same solenoid as me. Mine is located under the bed, on the curb side, behind the power distribution panel and converter. I have to remove a cover to see it.

I would have to go out to the MH and look to tell you any more about the solenoid. I know it is a 12v latching solenoid.

Depending on what they did when they removed the solenoid, it shouldn't be a difficult fix.

All battery disconnect switches I ever seen do not require or have a solenoid in their circuit. If your BD circuit requires a solenoid and it was removed, your BD won't engage or disengage without it being operative.

A solenoid is simply an electrically operated switch that engages or disengages another electrical switch,as as your engine starter.

Check and see if you can see where they connected the wires (if they in fact did).

One bit of advice I always give in these types of situations is to always ask for the part (s) that are supposedly replaced back.
