The thing I would do if stopped is sit in the seat with hands on the wheel until the officer directs me what to do. My insurance and registration is above my head so I will have to reach for them. After I opened the door I would make sure my hands are the first thing the officer would see and slowly exit the motorhome. If armed I would keep my hands in plain site and tell the officer that you have a concealed weapons license and you are armed. Need to make sure that you are legal in that state. You should also check the state laws before traveling that you will be in before leaving and comply with their laws. As for consenting to a search I would just tell the officer that I know you are just doing your job but I do not consent to any searches. If he or she enters your rv do not resist. Let the courts handle it.
