Best brands/models, early 2000s. Class A Diesel

Hello All,

Looking to purchase a used Class A Diesel. Budget is around 30k. Looking at early 2000s. Would prefer a 10000 LB Tow capacity as well.

What brands are the best in that year. We have seen a 2004 Holiday Rambler Endeavour that we really like but it is closer to 34k.

Most of the Fleetwoods have only 5k hitches.

I remember hearing good things about the NationalRV "Tradewinds".

The Holiday Ramblers were well built. Up to some point in 2000, they were built on a Freightliner chassis, then switched to Monaco's chassis.

My 2000 Holiday Rambler Endeavor DID NOT have a 10,000 lb hitch.

Maintenance is the key IMO.

Look at Beavers and Safaris. Same company (SMC) was building them in the early 2000s. Monaco bought them out in 02 or 03. You may have to go pre-2000 to stay under 30k.
