Please list lower end "entry" level RV's, by brand and model, but wear your flame suit.
Ill go one better :B,how about the Fleetwood Tioga like my Former Rental
Definitely an entry level RV but after it's life as a Rental it is now over 10 years old and All of the appliances, refrigerator, stove top, oven, microwave, furnace, water heater, A/C, all have been trouble free and worked without fail. They are all the original ones that came with the RV when new.
All doors, cabinets and drawers are tight and working as they should, the fit and finish is still very good. Even all the tank sensors work! The Onan generator has been trouble free with over 900 hours on it, just routine maintenance and running it monthly under load if has not been used, to make sure that it stays that way.
I hear a lot about the shoddy workmanship here on the Forum that others have found in their new RV and think maybe back when mine was built Quality was a bigger issue,2002-2006 were banner years for RV sales rivaling the recent Sales Stats and the Quality was still there,so newer may not be better considering the rapid depreciation of a new unit and the better quality control that was exercised back then compared to now.
A well maintained older unit may be a better option than new.
Just sayin, but I have all the things that should be bad according to some,a 11 year old Former Rental,Entry Level and on a Chevy Chassis. to boot :R
It has been trouble free and I think I made a wise and informed choice that may not work for others but has for me.
All the information so far has been very good, especially Rons,no sniping and bad mouthing,I find that refreshing, although this post may change that......:B
