Best place to mount a spare (without a rim attached)

The area under the lift up queen bed (has gas struts to hold it open) is perfect fit, wrap it in an old sheet roll it up the stairs down the hall and a little lift into the compartment...nothing to it.
Look around at what you've got, think outside the box.
