As much as I enjoy reading them, I have to agree with the first response. Most reviews tend to read like ads. Every now and then, they're critical of something, but it's rare. The reviews are still my favorite part of MH and FMCA magazines, even if it's just for the specs.
You won't find many that say it rides like a covered wagon, has craftsmanship that rivals the caveman days and is quiet as a rock concert on the road. There are useful parts, but you have to take them with huge grain of salt and filter out the chaff. Then, if you like one, you've got to experience it to see how it fits your expectations.
Unlike cars, you won't find long term tests so reliability is an unknown. That's where the RV sites fit in. They're often more about complaints than attributes, but at least you get a feel for trouble areas.
