If we were parked in a CG for any length of time the tanks got dumped when they were full. If we were traveling and just overnighting I would usually dump when the tanks were above 1/2 and I would do it when we pulled in to our site after I had set up the RV for the night. I found a days travel (200-250 miles for us) does wonders in helping to keep the black tank from having any hangers on around the sensors.
