Best used DP value for 100K?

In about two months our house will be sold and it will be time to make a decision...

We plan to full time in this coach and looking at units in the 38-40 foot range with a large fridge and preferably king bed, washer/dryer.

Most I see online are 2005-2008 models with less than 40K miles.

Given a choice what models should I be looking at in this range?

Thanks in advance!

How big of a problem is this?

99% of the discrepancies are appliances, even the new ones.

the chassis is mostly a off the shelf components. the brake system is standard NAPA parts for heavy trucks.

So,, what can brake that you could't repair with out factory support ??? the coach its self.
  • I would be looking for a Monaco in 05-08 year models, Diplomat and above. The reason....even though they're out of business, they're still one of the most popular and best coaches made from that era. There are thousands of them available throughout the country, which will make for easy comparison and availability. (please don't post that they're are not out of business. Monaco as it was known is GONE.)

With ten years of ownership I have a pretty good idea how good the Monaco Dynasty are plus I plan on using it for another 10-15 years. I keep up with the price of Dynasty and this one looks like a pretty good deal. Cannot tell if the front TV has been changed to digital, the back one has not but not that expensive any more to change.
A 42' tag axle coach has a better turning radius than a 39-40 non tag. Once you have a tag axle coach you will not go back to a non tag because of the better handling. For FT you need plenty of CCC and unlike the 9,000+ lbs I have many non tag have less than 2,000.
Having owned a 98 Beaver the one above is a nice coach but I would not want it for FT even though it probably has 3,500 lbs of CCC. The slide only goes out 16" which is better than none but on a rainy day it's nice to have plenty of room.
*In the pictures for the Marquis below you can see how little the slide goes out compared to just 2-3 years newer. Beaver's have the nicest woodwork of any MH that cost less than a million new.
  • 100k will get you a late model Wanderlodge, Blue Bird. Top of the line build. Check out: http://www.buybyebluebird.com
as just one source. Call Randy, the owner, with what you are looking for.
    No affiliation, yada, yada.

At 100k there are some beautiful coaches on the market. I'd be looking for a Beaver Contessa, Newmar Dutch Star or Mountain Aire.

    Right in your back yard

    Newmar

    Beaver
