Best way to haul a quad?
I would like to take a honda rancher Atv with us on the road. We won't pull a toad and planning on a 40 foot DP. Can this be mounted on the hitch on some sort of flat drive on drive off platform? ...

This confused me. Not sure what advantage one would get when driving two vehicles independently?
IF you are not going to be driving two separate vehicles, you may want to look into the Idaho Tote. It is an AWESOME piece of equipment, that is EXTREMELY well made. It is pricey.
I do have quads, and I would not put a single hitch mount ATV carrier on my rig, period. It porpoises and will vibrate the heck out of your mount and equipment. The quad is simply waaaaay too heavy for hauling that way.
I have an aluminum H&H trailer that works great to haul whatever need be, including my quad, when I am not towing my travel trailer. Otherwise it goes on my truck bed, on the DiamondBack ATV Carrier (which, of course, would not work for you).
