Bet you never did this before

Well .....short and to the point because I am still very upset. Thor 24c had automatic awning down for shade and decided to take the rv for a spin. Yup forgot to retract.

Rammed into side of house- bent hardware ripped several screws from body but fabric is all ok.

I can't talk about it right now but it's totaled and just too defeated for words.

    It happens. I pulled away once, after doing a walk around, while still hooked to shore power.

    You will double check everything next time. Trust me.

    Just remember, it could have been worse.

    Wow, that is unfortunate. Sounds like it is repairable and will take some time and money..

    I am thinking there were few who have not pulled away from being parked leaving something extended, attached, or not properly stowed.
