Better way to stow 30 amp cord in small cubby hole

Has anyone figured out a better method of how to stow away the shore power cord in the small cubby holes our Class Cs come with other than just trying to wrap the cord up as you stuff it in the hole? ...

On our old rig, I replaced the 25 foot cord with a two foot pigtail. I then made the 25 foot cord into an extension cord with a female cord body on end removed from the rig. I then stored the "extension" cord in a compartment.
No more fighting small hole!
