Better way to stow 30 amp cord in small cubby hole

Has anyone figured out a better method of how to stow away the shore power cord in the small cubby holes our Class Cs come with other than just trying to wrap the cord up as you stuff it in the hole? ...

I have an 8"x8" and 12" deep pocket for my 25' 30 amp cord. I coil mine as I set it in. It's so tight it pushed the box about 1" larger - the wood staples pulled out. If I didn't do it that way it would never fit. You may want to reinforce the corners if you coil it.
