Better way to stow 30 amp cord in small cubby hole

Has anyone figured out a better method of how to stow away the shore power cord in the small cubby holes our Class Cs come with other than just trying to wrap the cord up as you stuff it in the hole? ...

I detached the cord and used a marinco receptable at the RV end. Now, when I leave home, I just unplug the cord at the RV side and leave it there at home. I keep another cord stored in an ebags packing cube that I pull out and use for shore power when available on the road. No more spending 10 minutes trying to fight that cord.
