HUH? I certainly did not recommend Michelin. What I meant was if that is your only choices for buying local, drive somewhere else and buy your tires.

Have you checked other truck tire dealers?
Maybe in Mobile or Tallahasse?

Get the ones made in the USA (Japan is OK, too) with the best deal. Your tires will age out before you wear the tread off them.

BFGoodrich,TOYO,Sumitomo,Hankook...OK, "Samson & De-China"...NO WAY!

Mine were dated 2006. Just replaced them with a different brand. But no complaints with the Sumitomo's. Same tire as Dunlap truck tires I am told. Only reason for my change was the 8 years of age and a very long trip coming up.

On my last motorhome I put six BF Goodrich on it and was very happy with them. BTW the ones I bought were made in the USA which is a good attribute.

My Sumitomo 727 tires(275/70R22.5) installed in August 2009 have performed well, and still look like new. I would buy this brand again.
