Bicycle cover

I've searched high and low for a cover for the two bicycles we carry on our ladder. It appears Swagman used to make one for this purpose but has discontinued it. Is anyone using one of the hitch mount carrier covers on their ladder with any success? Help!

The issues with grill covers is that there is no clear plastic to see the tail lights of the RV and it's not closed at the bottom to keep dirt, water and road grime off the most critical bits of a bike which is the drivetrain.

I've had this one for 3 years now and it's just starting to look like it needs replaced. Not bad when you consider the cost. It covers 2 road or mtb bikes, easy to put on and off and zippers closed so it gets very little under spray and no road grime on the bikes. It also has plastic windows so you can see the tail lights of the RV. I have some pretty expensive bikes (most are a few thousand each) and this cover protects them just fine.

  • Thanks for the suggestions. I bought a large grill cover and will give that a try.

    That's what I use also.
  • Always carried bikes on back. A few years ago the DW got her new bike. She insisted on a 2 bike cover for carrying on the back of the MoHo. Never rode the bikes because it was such a job to get that dam cover on & off.
  • I have one from camping world at it works great for my bike. It says that it is made for two bikes but I only use it for one.
  • I am a very avid bike rider & never travel without one. I have used several speciality covers & have found the grill covers they sell at Home Depot or Lowes to work as well as of the others at a much lower cost
  • I'd do a Google search for `bicycle cover'. Much wider audience.
