black water tank flush

I've never had one of these. I hooked up the water hose to the tank flush, but all that happened when I turned on the water was a little water trickled out from the connection. I am assuming there should be a flow of water into the black tank, and stuff should be coming out the pipe. Any thoughts?

    The sprayer in the tank could be clogged. Ours gradually took longer and longer to rinse the tank over 8 years, then last year it quit when I let the tank get overly full. I had to pull a panel in our wet bay to gain access to the top of the tank. I then pulled the sprayer out and drilled the nozzle holes slightly larger, using a 1/16" bit, as I recall. On remounting the sprayer, it has worked great ever since. I also added one to our B+ last summer, in that case the sprayer is mounted high on the side of the tank rather than in the top.

    How long did you let it run? If it's on a used MH and hasn't been used for a while, maybe where it enters the black tank is clogged with dried scrap and needs to have water run through it for a while to loosen things up?
