That was about the only time I ever got to use the air horns when I was working. Company forbid it otherwise. But not that it my rig and my air horns, I can blow them when ever I want! But I still only do it when someone waves or in a real panic type situation! But checking your air horn is required as part of the pretrip!!! which should be done before pulling out for the trip.
My guess is that he was giving a toot on the horn to some kid doing that motion with his arm... I did that all the time as a kid. Fun times! Remember to not take life so seriously and have fun...
Although ... maybe he WAS doing it to piss you off. - rvis2005ExplorerOn the list of what "really" bothers me, that one didn't make it. I camp because it's my therapy...nearly nothing bothers me while camping, including this friendly gesture. On that list? Aged Tire date codes on heavy motorhomes... Tommy

I wish my coach had an air horn....
I wish I had the money to install Hooker Headers and stainless steel dual exhaust with glaspaks. I bet that V-10 would rumble nicely. Maybe 4 inch straight pipes would be better.
Outdoor speakers would be nice, too, so I could entertain the entire campground with my Spike Jones recordings ("My Old Flame", with the sirens and gunshots! GOOD stuff!)
But then, I'm not quite 75 yet, still in my second childhood, I guess...
When you get the money, don't forget to buy lots of lights so you can light up your rig like Times Square. Then everyone can hear and see you. :B - Actually he probably has mechanical issues and needs to bleed off some "hot" air.
- wallynmExplorerUnless they pull the late night shift but then who would care right. Just the folks trying to sleep at 3:00 PM!!!.:S

Hey, I toot my horn when I leave home for work, and my Grandson is outside waving to me!:B
But, then again, that is in a residential neighborhood, not at a campground....and it's about 3:00PM in the afternoon, so I'm not waking anyone up either.....and finally, it's not an airhorn!!
I guess we know why there is that saying "Toot your own horn!":B - the_silverbackExplorerMaybe, just maybe everyone is awake a 6 in the morning after running the DP for one half hour. Let's just all try to think of others. Opps sorry for the double post. I wasn't thinking of others
