Blowing your air horn when leaving. What do you want man?

I have people blow their horns at me all the time in traffic. I wave back to them to say thanks. I'm sure they're just being friendly....you guys just confirmed it for me.

After this thread I realize that I am air horn challenged...only have two. Now I realize that, since I have air to spare, there is room on the roof for at least four more. Preferably with different frequencies.

After all, just because we grow older doesn't mean we have to grow up.

Some of you people would really roast me - I had air horns on my motorcycle and used them quite frequently.

A friend of mine some 25 years back had a Georgie Boy with a nice set of air horns. He told the story of driving through a park and an obvious to him homeless man was asleep under newspapers on a park bench. As he approached, he blew his air horns and the man rolled off the bench. Now that was bad!

Guess I'm guilty. I give one short blast when I leave a camp ground I have enjoyed staying at. There are much worse sounds than air horns like screaming kids and people yelling at each other across the table in a restaurant. Give me the short blast anytime.:W
