Look for advice from the dealer who sold you the tire - if there is an issue I'm sure he is aware of it - All anyone on this forum will do is GUESS!

Think hard and long about the conditions on the "Blow Out" - In my experience (30 years with over the road trucks) it is seldom the tire that is the issue, and if impact was the issue it would have registered in your memory (Yes?) If it was a nail/slow leak you should have noticed something in the driving? and most likely this is the issue (Low pressure and extreme heat = rapid Failure) Front steering tire.

If I were you I would likely change brands - but that's me - sort of the lightning striking twice thing, not much chance but.

How fast do you travel? I have a monitoring system and am amazed at the temperature rise sometimes.

I put the same size AH12's from Hankook on the MH in 2012. Based upon weight I run 110 PSI cold on the front and 95 PSI cold on the rears.

131 PSI would exceed the max for my rims.

I cannot imagine that 131 PSI cold would not yield a significantly over-inflated tire and an accident waiting to happen.

I put Hankook AH-12's in 275-70-22.5 on my previous DP and they were a very good tire. I had them inflated based on the load inflation table and never had to inflate them to max. Max on those tires is 120 psi.

SmartTire monitoring tells you if the tires get hot. Once I got an alert that front tire was overheating.. I slowed down from 65mph to 30mph and watched the tire cool down before going again. I am pretty sure I would have blown out.. the temp was running away to the upside.

also, I only use michelin tires.. FMCA discount is very good.. I waited 3 months when they were on backorder.

This is not a slam against Hancook Tires! Any tire as you know can blow! I'm throwing this tire blow out problem back on you. How do you feel about your Hancook tires after what you experienced with them on the road! If you don't trust them anymore, then it's time to switch!

I have a monitor system for my trailer so I guess I will add more sensors to cover the mh as well....

Perhaps a bit of a counterpoint:

Per all tire manufacturers, inflate the tire to the recommended PSI BEFORE DRIVING (that is their definition of "cold"). They know what PSI will do with temperature rise-- after all the Ideal Gas Law is pretty well known by the tire engineers.

But at what time of day was pressure set, if you set pressure at 7am at max and by 2pm on a hot day it can rise as much as 10 psi without even driving, than add driving on that tire at 10 psi over max and see how high the psi can go.

I'm sorry my friend but that's just not the way it all works. You set the pressure cold - doesn't have to be a critical time of day or even temperature outside. The tire just has to be free from rolling down the road and creating any of its own heat.
Then if it gains 10 PSI rolling down the road that's fine and within the tires design working conditions.
The lower the air pressure, the hotter it will run.
So if your setting your tire's air pressure lower to protect it, your doing just the opposite.

Do you have a tire pressure monitor on your coach? You can always collect a nail and lose pressure as soon as you leave your house...... Best thing I have found for peace of mind. Properly inflated tire almost NEVER blow...
