We had one that started (2010 Model) to loose communications every 5-10 minutes after the 1st month of use, the factory replaced it under warranty at about 10 months, when I called them to see if that was normal, when it got to every 3-4 minutes. That one (2012 Model) we sent in in April after about one year due to the arm locking up continually when activated on the 3rd cycle of the set up routine. We have only used it for about 200 miles since it was shipped back to us, since we spent the summer going to Alaska in our B+. Yesterday my wife had to turn it off at the remote since it was engaging every time the coach brakes were used even at sensitivity setting #1. It also was loosing communications about every 5 minutes. Wednesday we will set it up again from "scratch" using the manual and see if we again have the problem. Will say this though, the Patriot has still performed better than our previous BrakeBuddy (remote alert light never worked) which we shipped to the plant at our expense 8-9 times and one visit to the factory for a "total rebuild" in 7 years for problems with the air-compressor, cylinder, control board, air leaks and regulator. After the "total rebuild" it worked for 2 months then started the same type of problems, so we bought the Patriot.
