Not to hijack this, but with the wireless remote, are you s'posed to have the red lites lite up when the toad brakes go on to let you know that it's working? Mine does not.
I had a problem with it blowing the inline fuse and then the nose fell off of the plug and so I had to cut it off and put a new one on and it still blew fuses. Discovered that the converter for the trailer lites had burned u and was causing a hot car problem and that was what was blowing the fuses.
When I called Brake Buddy and gave him the serial number, he was surprised that I had just gotten it in late 2013 as it was manufactured in early 2010.
