Brake control light ( switch )

Are you talking about the switch that activates when the brake pedal is depressed? If so you can adjust the switch so the button doesn't stay out and turn on the lights. When the brake pedal is in its normal position the brake switch button should be inside the switch. When you push the pedal down the button comes out and the light turns on. sSome switches are mounted on a bracket and it may get bent by your foot hitting it. Some switches slide inside a round holder and are adjusted by sliding it in or out.
