Brake fluid leaking

2001 Pace Arrow Vision 35R
Ford F53 chassis
Just started out from campground and no brakes.
Brake fluid leak on ground. See fluid but can't see where it is coming from.
All lines that I can see are dry. Mystery?
Has anyone had this happen, any clues? Have contacted road service for tomorrow tow to nearest Ford repair shop.
Any recommendations of Ford shop / Repair place near Lady Lake, Florida?
We are back at campground and safe place.
  • Alliance Coach in Wildwood,Fl on 44 is an option. Not far from there.
  • Thanks for reply
CoachNet will tow Motorhome Monday to Ford dealer that can do repair.

  • Don't forget that 95% of your brake lines are STEEL tubing and are subject to rusting and developing leaks. This is fairly common for vehicles used in any area of the country that uses salt on the highways or coastal areas. Naturally the short rubber hoses that connect to your front wheels can also leak but other than those rubber hoses and the single rubber hose at the rear, the rest of your brake lines are steel.
  • Update: Towed to Rush Truck Center - Orlando, Florida on Monday afternoon. When we arrived back at Truck Center on Tuesday morning Rush Truck Center- Orlando found the problem, only one bad brake line. They are replacing with new line, flushing system and new brake fluid. Also replacing in line gas fuel filter. Should be on road today. Thanks for all the helpful replies.

  • Glad to hear you found the problem and are having it fixed. Was the one brake line bad from rust or was it just damaged. If rust, the others may follow.
  • Not damage just getting old. Yes I will have to inspect the others when it warms up some. Heading back north now. Waiting for storm, snow to pass before I continue on.
    Thanks for the advise.
