brakes

I have a National 2000 seaview 31 ft.and at a recent inspection was told I should thinks about new brakes rotors and pads. The vehicle weighs 17000lbs and I have towed a dinghy (2800lbs) about a third of the 50,000 miles. I am a good driver and don't ride brakes so should a brake replacement be due at this point?
  • Great idea my calipers rotors and pads were done at 40k
on a f53 chassis, the rotors were pitted and salt had got to them
from good old Florida air, I always believe braking the most important
part of the ride, check around for prices seem to be some shops fairly reasonable
    good luck
  • Which chassis? Do you have a Toad braking system? I'd say @ 50K it's worth a look to see how worn they are.
