Broken down on side of HWH 71 in Ohio

After reading through this thread, I have to ask. Had your RV been “speaking” to you before the front end finally failed catastrophically? Things seldom ever fail without warning, but the driver has to listen, investigate, and take appropriate action when something seems amiss. You were lucky such a catastrophic failure didn’t lead to a real tragedy, one that no amount of money on earth could correct.

As I said earlier I heard an intermittent sound coming from the front end posted on here about it and brought it to a shop to have it checked out. The shop said the coil spring was causing the noise because it was not seated properly. They said the front end was fine and the realigned it. I believed the noise was coming from the slide.
