Bully Dog for Motorhome??

A friend just put a deposit on a 2013 Fleetwood Excursion, with a Cummins 300 hp. The dealer suggested Bully Dog for more power. I cannot find any info on use of BullyDog for a MH, just see use with trucks pulling fifth wheels and TTs.

Any input? Is the dealer just looking for a mark-up in his commission?

Thanks in advance.
  • Bully Dog is a brand name of an Engine performance tuner. They make quite a bit of difference in some diesels. I would contact Bully Dog direct and ask one of their tech advisors for a recommendation for your application. I used a similar device on a 1999 7.3 ford dually. The result was amazing. It had a lot more power and firmed up the shift on the transmission. Fuel mileage was not effected by any major amount. The 2005 Duramax that I had was so powerful with the factory tune that I did not install one on that truck.
