The axles/tires only carry 88 - 90 % of the trailer weight. The other 10-12% is carried on the tow vehicle. Weight wise the trailer tires will be ok.

Your math is sound, but you're skirting the edge a bit. You're free to do whatever you wish, but personally, I would rather take a safer path.
