Hello everyone, I am buying a used Dodge Xplorer, relatively cheap but seems to be in good shape for it's age (1989). I went to check it out today, found no leaks, everything worked just needs a thorough cleaning. Here is a picture ( I hope).

We do the same. Great for bringing crown molding home from Loew's. Or the annual Christmas tree. Leaves you with that nice piney smell without having to hang a little cardboard thingy on your rear-view mirror.
We often use our B as a second vehicle especially when we have to haul something big, WHen we load the large cartons full of shoeboxes(giftboxes) for kids overseas I just flatten out the rear electric couch into bed position and shove all the cartons in. Looks like a great find. The cosmetics alone, condition of this finish on such a diificult color, says it has been well cared for and probably stored indoors.
I think you will like a "B". For one reason: Your camping trip begins as soon as you hop in the driver's seat. No hitching/unhitching, no running around to the back to get in the TC, just drive where you feel like (and it is safe/legal), put it in park, check level for the fridge, and take a nap.
Ronsminis Very true. Travelling around with our B'ers is really nice. Best wishes to you and your other retired partner, Ron as you enjoy the freedom of not having to get up and go to work in the morning...well, unless you have time for that, which is unlikely.... AL
Thanks for the replies and the welcome. After giving my truck camper to my daughter (health reasons) I realized how much I missed camping.
Have felt much better since my pacemaker was installed and figured a B would be easier to set up and to get around in. I am going to get it tuned up and all the belts and hoses checked, then travel for awhile. No destination or schedules.
