Buying a new Tiffin-update

A couple months ago I posted requesting input regarding buying a new Tiffin 34TGA. I received a lot of feedback and some excellent advice. I had found it hard to believe that you could buy exactly what you want at around 25% off MSRP.
I followed the advice I received on the forum and was able to get what I wanted for almost 30% off MSRP! Thanks to all of you who responded, I'm so glad I asked the question.
I contacted Karen Cornelius at Sherman RV in Tupelo, Ms., was quoted a price, and made a very hassle free no pressure deal. She ordered the coach, kept us apprised of progress, and had it ready for us to pickup. No extra costs - everything was upfront from the beginning.
It made for a hurried road trip to pick up the coach and get home for Christmas but the savings made it more than worth any inconvenience.

  • Congratulations on your new Tiffin. Hope you have many happy times. I bought my coach in Michigan from General RV and am from PA. Also a 30% discount from Tiffin's MSRP supplied to me from the dealer. Before I bought I called Tiffin and asked them about getting warranty service in PA. They told me to find a place I like and just tell them to contact Tiffin first before doing any work. I took it to Camping World who took care of it without any of the You didn't buy it here crap. I asked them if they had any problems with Tiffin and they told me that Tiffin is really great to work with and had no problems.
Precisely the reason I bought a Tiffin.
  • If you are going to Sherman's you may as well go to the factory.

Keep in mind, you got a super deal, because the selling dealer will never see you for warranty repairs.

    +1
  • So was the MSRP made up or real. I have often wondered just how real some of the stated mark ups are. We never know what the hold backs % is or how allotments are calculated. Postings are not mandatory like they on on cars and trucks. I assume everyone made enough on the deal to stay in business.
