Buying a used Fleetwood Flair 22' .....NADA ...low?

I have a deposit on this Flair:

In my search for a small Class A I found that NADA is really low compared to retail prices. This coach according to NADA should sell for $10,300. The lowest I could get the dealer down to is $12,500 and that is pending my inspection on Sunday. Of all the 22' Flairs for sale right now in the US only one is advertized at NADA and it is has much higher miles and in a much more used condition.

So, is this normal for RV's to sell higher than NADA, or is this coach overpriced? To be honest I have always bought campers and Rv's under NADA, but most needed some TLC...so there is a reason for that.
  • If the rig passes your inspection and meets your needs, I would not worry about the $2,500 spread since you are not buying the rig for resale.

Buying anything used has risk, but you might be able to use the rig for three years and sell it for very near your purchase price.

In the meantime, you surely will create some priceless memories.

BTW, the pictures show a rig in very good condition...
  • after your inspection,, GET EVERYTHING in writing, nd a very short time limet for the repairs, and you can bet it needs new tires, you pick the brand etc. remember they want your money ,and you want a good deal.give them no money till repairs are done and passes your second inspection.
