There won't be signs that say over 40' prohibited. The sign will be a truck sign saying 30' kingpin to rear axle prohibited. You'll know that means 40' motorhome prohibited because when you got that endorsement on your license to drive that long motorhome it will have been covered in the test you had to take.
Yup it's a 26% grade. I did it in a Class C years ago and it made it. The OP of this thread did it in a large Class A so it can be done. The 26% part is probably only a few hundred yards long. I've done it a few times on my Harley and it's actually a little scary even on the motorcycle, but not too bad.
