I put Firestone tires on the front of my DP four years ago and Hankook on the back in 13. When I need new tires I'll do the same. I run Firestone on my F350 SRW PU and will continue to use only Firestone. When I ran rubber tired loaders Firestone was the only tire that would not get sidewall splits on the over worked front axles.
I also know enough about the Ford/Firestone problems that Ford's recommend pressure was too low which caused the tire blowouts.
I will not buy another Michelin because of their lack of support for their sorry XRV's that actually blew sitting still. Unlike 40 years ago, there are plenty of good radial tires today like Firestone and Hankook.
